What's happening?

Idea Farm is a 900m² music, arts and nutrition centre currently under construction in a cluster of 1920s cow barns on the edge of Söderåsen national park, near Malmö, Sweden.

We are building a huge recording studio, a co-working lab, product design workshops, a nutritional therapy clinic, performance spaces, restaurant, guesthouse, and much more.

The entire build process is being documented on our YouTube channel, with new episodes every Sunday at 7pm.

Who are we looking for?

Designers, culinary artists, promoters, programmers, recording engineers, printers, craftspeople and enthusiasts looking for an inclusive, multi-disciplinary home for their endeavours.

To be a part of a sustainable production house, a hyper cottage industry which embraces a DIY approach, cross-pollinates ideas and endlessly innovates.

A community that will strengthen the local economy, widen the cultural landscape and occasionally manufacture wonderful gizmos.

Who are we?

  • Elsa Qvarsell, born in Stockholm, started her career as a freelance portrait photographer, documenting the London celebrity, fashion and music world for clients such as The Face, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, The Guardian, The Independent and many more..

After developing a debilitating auto-immune disease in 2012, which was ultimately managed by changing her diet, she discovered the world of Functional Medicine - and a new mission: to help others in the same situation.

She is now a certified Functional Medicine health consultant and offers private sessions both in her clinic here at Idea Farm, and online.

  • After dropping out of art school, London born Robbie Moore has worked in the music industry for the past 25 years.. producing records, building recording studios, touring Europe, writing TV jingles, running record labels and everything inbetween.

Having worked with everyone from Florence + the Machine to Little Simz, in 2014 he built Impression Recordings studio in Berlin, which quickly became the top recording spot in the city.

10 years later, he is building its big sister at Idea Farm.
